Well do pokemon have a gender or the trainer just calls it a male or female.

Well when you play the pokemon series they give you an icon howing whether its a boy and a girl. the pokemon world is very mysterious but i guess i like it that way

Each Pokemon has their own different gender based on type, lifestyle, & character. Not all Pokemon has a gender, but that's how it is in the Pokemon World.
